"This company cost me money; they are clearly scammers."
"Vikom is experiencing a driver shortage and has increased pay by €100 per day. However, they deduct charges of €500-€1500 for minor scratches that aren't documented officially. This is a way for Vikom to profit, making it difficult to avoid these charges. I advise avoiding this company."
"The company is deceptive and exploits people. Everything written is true. They push false cash register orders for signatures, deal with the labor committee, the trucks are old and in poor condition, frequently breaking down. Deductions of 500 euros for scratches are common. Advance payments are not returned upon termination. The managers are unprofessional. This company is only suitable for inexperienced drivers."
"This company is terrible and only suitable for gaining experience. They fabricate charges for scratches, which are insignificant, and withhold documentation."
"Today's salary for drivers at this company is 1500 euros, and that's it! This is before deductions, even for experienced drivers. We've been working since last fall. We're being sent out again, and another group of drivers is arriving."
"The rules are changed arbitrarily, and you're only informed after the calculations. If you work quickly, they'll deduct pay; if you work slowly, they'll deduct pay too. On weekends, you must guard the trucks for free, and they'll deduct for idling while the battery charges."
"This is entirely true from my perspective. I quit, and they are not returning the 500 euro deposit. I still owe 370 euros from March, and I will be contacting the union to stand up for my rights. Don't treat us like dirt and slaves."
"I've worked here for 2 years. I earn 90-105 euros including weekends. Pay is the same as it was before the pandemic."
"I do not recommend UAB "VYKOM". They have high turnover and fail to pay wages upon termination, often requiring employees to prove their earnings. The company benefits from drivers working short stints for minimal pay. Agreements are verbal, and the promised minimum of 90 euros is not in the contract. The dismissed deputy director, previously from Girteka, indicates a negative experience, introducing penalties for non-eco driving. They employ drivers with a 3-month probationary period, and termination without pay occurs if drivers refuse to violate rest regulations. Dispatchers avoid acknowledging errors, and many drivers are unfamiliar with work-rest schedules. Joining a union is strongly advised."
"I worked for this company for two years. Initially, I thought it was great. The pay wasn't large for a trucker, around $2500, but the work wasn't difficult. I left after a new management team arrived. Then, fines started for everything. Turnover increased as experienced drivers left, and new drivers couldn't handle the work. I've heard from others that things have improved. It seems that working hard leads to decent pay."
