"This company is good; no one deducted pay unfairly, and you primarily drive on highways. In my opinion, it's the best company in Lithuania."

"I've worked at this company for a year and three months, but the pay is incredibly low. When you ask about money, you're told 'that's not my department,' and then they claim they don't know who to ask. You're eventually forced to leave for a better company. They'll then say they could have done things differently, which makes you question the people working there. They don't want good drivers, that's the truth."

"This company is poorly managed, with unreliable payment practices. They initially promised one salary but paid a different amount. The company's representatives are overly friendly during onboarding but evasive when discussing pay. While the work itself isn't terrible, resolving payment issues is impossible, and the attitude is disrespectful. It feels disorganized and unprofessional."

"This company is awful; they cheat on everything, from car washes to parking (even when the manager provides it). They don't return money, and you end up paying for other people's fines on the vehicle. For example, someone incorrectly connected a toll payment device, a violation was recorded, and the police caught it later, resulting in a €1000 fine. You pay the fine, even though it's not your fault, but they'll blame you, and it's useless to fight it."

"After 2.5 years, my last two assignments were unexpectedly terminated. The first was closed with a mileage claim of 55, citing insufficient kilometers driven. The second promised 70 but delivered 65 on a gas-powered Iveco, often with 90-hour work weeks. I didn't receive my wall."

"After two years, the initial excitement faded. Dispatch was okay, but addresses and coordinates weren't always accurate. Routes were long, often between Sweden and Spain, with workweeks sometimes exceeding 70-80 hours. However, there were significant issues with delays (2-3 weeks) due to lack of loads or replacements, leading to reduced pay (150-180 euros lost). Exit fees were also unfairly deducted. Those who tolerate poor treatment will stay, but those who respect their work should seek better opportunities."

"I worked at this company for 1.5 years. If you lack experience in Europe, you can gain it here, but at the cost of your health and constant night driving. The dispatcher's attitude will be disrespectful. Salary is unreliable; they deduct fees for everything, regardless of mileage. Colleagues also make mistakes. When transferring loads with Lithuanians, expect fuel shortages in the trailer; they drain it and don't care, blaming the Ukrainian drivers."

"This company is a good starting point for drivers new to European trucking. It functions as a training program where you gain experience and build a track record. While pay isn't exceptional (around 55 euros per day), it's reasonable given the lack of demanding requirements. Some managers are work-focused, but the overall experience isn't terrible. There's a risk of losing some accumulated benefits if you leave, and there's potential for changes like pallet work that could impact the job."

"I worked for this company for 4.5 years and strongly advise against it, even for a first job in Europe. Everything is based on deception, from the Kyiv office to the director, who is a terrible person. You only get paid at the end, and you hope nothing goes wrong, or you'll return home with nothing. They can easily charge you for fuel or scratches. The promised €1000 bonus upon termination is a lie; no one receives it. They won't return money for parking, washing, or roads in Greece and Hungary; they'll find any excuse to cheat you. A terrible company – do not recommend!"

"After working at this company for a year, it's impossible to earn a decent living. Pay is inconsistent and often below expectations, with some drivers reporting rates around 50-60%. Vehicle check-in and check-out are humiliating, with significant delays and unexpected downtime in the repair zone at the driver's expense. Dispatchers treat drivers poorly. The only positive experience was with the freight managers. Drivers are unfairly penalized for violations, and deductions for code 95 and fuel surcharges are excessive and opaque. This company is suitable only for gaining initial experience, but long-term employment is not recommended, especially if seeking residency."

"I was interested in working here, but after visiting, I realized it's not a legitimate company. They charged an unreasonable amount for a required code course and didn't provide it. The director couldn't tell me my potential earnings. Work is unreliable and pay is low, with delays and reduced earnings due to weather. They exploit drivers for profit. Avoid this company; it's better to lose the money you spent than to end up in debt."

"The pay system is structured with Lithuanians earning at least $60 per day, Ukrainians $55, and those from Ukraine and Moldova earning $45-$50. I've been working here for 4 years and am generally satisfied."

"This company is a disaster. Drivers are stuck at the base for months, receiving very low pay that barely covers basic needs. The management is consistently rude and unprofessional. Reading reviews earlier would have prevented anyone from joining. Avoid this company at all costs."

"I worked at Vlantana for 3.5 years and completely agree with previous reviews. They steal workdays, subtly but consistently. If you don't keep careful records, things seem fine, but a close accounting reveals about 100 euros missing per contract period. It's a shame about the wasted time."

"I worked for this company for 4 months. They promised €50 per day, but after deductions, it's closer to €45-€47. The trucks are mostly new Mercedes Euro 5-6 models. I didn't experience any major issues with dispatch."

"I do not recommend this company. They deduct 1000 euros from the first salary (a wall), promising to return it upon termination, but only return 300-400 euros. Even experienced drivers are put into training positions for months, and are paid the same as solo drivers. Only Mercedes 5 and 6 drivers work without required rest stops. Volvo 6 has constant fuel consumption issues, leading to driver dissatisfaction. Rest time is always minimal, with constant calls. Frequent trailer changes occur, sometimes over 12 per month. Fuel shortages of 15-20 liters are common during refueling, with drivers paying the difference. Communication with managers is only via SMS to avoid being blamed for issues. High turnover rate with 10 new employees arriving every two weeks. Waiting for a truck at the base can take 5 days, accommodation is 10 euros per day, and early arrival is impossible."

"This is a normal company. As long as you do your assigned work diligently, everything is fine. I've had no problems in 12 years, and they pay what they promise. If you make mistakes, you'll be paid accordingly. The company shouldn't have to pay for your errors."

"I've been with this company for 2 years and I can say only one thing - those who write that the company is bad just don't want to work! I work calmly and have no conflicts with dispatch or management. I've been earning around 50 euros a day for the past few months. I often go to Norway, where other drivers load refrigerators, and I just hook up and drive to Spain, France, Poland, etc. There are no deductions for fuel consumption, and no one pays attention to minor scratches when transferring trailers, but if there's obvious damage, we report it to the office."

"Having worked at Vlantana for about 10 months, I'd rate it a 4 out of 5 for those starting out, with the usual pros and cons. Given the current job market, it's a viable option. I never earned less than €1500 per month. I recommend it for those planning to work in Europe!"

"After 11 years of loyal service, the company's management changed, leading to a negative experience. The driver was initially prevented from leaving and then falsely accused, with the final month's pay calculated unfairly. Frequent and unexplained deductions from pay occurred. The automated pay system made it impossible to question discrepancies. The driver believes Girteka is now a better company."
