"Positive vibes! The director informed all drivers of a sudden pay cut from 85 to 67 per day. Eight drivers quit that same day. I retaliated by accepting a replacement position and avoiding work for two weeks at the SCHOTPORT base (a VAILIDA client), enjoying its amenities until an emergency replacement arrived (every three weeks). Those two weeks were paid because I kept the chip in the truck and logged 3-4 hours of driving daily."
"I've been working at VAILIDA for over a year. After reading the reviews, I can honestly say that if you work diligently, you won't have any problems and you'll receive your pay. I don't plan on leaving."
"The director seems paranoid and excessively inquisitive, creating a stressful and unpleasant environment. Their tactics are manipulative and unfair."
"I've been with this company for a while and am surprised by the reviews I've read. While there are some issues, it's a genuinely good company! If you're hardworking and responsible, you'll be treated well and won't be pressured. Pay is reliable and on time, provided you perform your duties correctly and don't damage the truck. Requires at least 5 years of European driving experience."
"I've been working with Vailide for over three years as a truck driver. Overall, it's been a positive experience."
"I'd like to leave a positive review of the company. The management is excellent, the salary is paid without deductions, the vehicle maintenance is timely (everything needed is purchased on time), the workflow is well-organized, and the managers are wonderful (always ready to help when needed). Overall, I am more than satisfied with the job."
"This company, Vailida, in Taurage, Lithuania, has significantly declined. Initially appearing reputable, the director's behavior is suspicious, and the company now seems to be exploiting drivers by withholding pay. They advertise for drivers while the truck fleet remains unchanged, suggesting they're replacing experienced drivers who aren't being paid fairly. The company uses deceptive tactics to avoid paying drivers fully or at all, blaming them for issues. Management, including the director and his father, are problematic and deflect responsibility onto drivers, even during driving hours. It's a cycle of exploitation and turnover."
"The experience was largely negative. The driver appreciated having a new Scania truck, but the director, Vaidas, was described as aggressive, verbally abusive, and lacking understanding of driver needs. There was a lack of organization, and drivers were pressured to drive beyond their legal working hours. Several drivers left after short periods. The garage manager, Algis, was also reported as verbally abusive and unstable. The overall atmosphere was extremely hostile."
