"The location of the base near Belarus is convenient for some. It offers a hostel, storage, and overnight stays. Payments are reliable. However, be prepared for hefty fines (around 600 euros) for alcohol consumption during trips. They deduct for minor scratches and fuel usage."
"I have nothing negative to say. Everything is well-organized and efficient."
"The company implemented deceptive practices to avoid tax obligations, forcing drivers to work without proper rest breaks by disguising work time as driver pauses. Management was uncooperative and penalized drivers for minor infractions. There were excessive documentation requirements, leading to delays. Overtime was pressured and arrival times were unrealistic, with shifting blame when delays occurred. Pay was higher than competitors, but due to increased workload, not due to appreciation for the driver's work. Trucks were budget models with design flaws. Employee turnover is high."
"The company was decent during 2021-2024, but deductions for minor issues became frequent, the pay was unclear, management was unfair, and the hiring process was slow. Excessive paperwork and reports create unnecessary stress. Transport to the truck by bus was chaotic, with a tour of Europe. Leaving resolved a significant headache. High employee turnover."
"I've encountered many trucks in Europe and spoken with drivers; this company is just okay. It's like a revolving door, as are most Lithuanian trucking companies. There are deductions and a deposit of 1000 euros, which, of course, won't be returned."
"The company is decent, a workable option. Managerial attitude could be better. They pay earned wages, but deductions occur for mistakes. It's a good starting point, and recently, salaries have increased."
"Overall, the job is decent. Payments are reliable and on time, but there are some negative aspects."
"People, does it strike you as odd that all the positive reviews were posted around the same time, nine months ago? Be smart and pay attention, don't be fooled! Wishing everyone well."
"I almost joined this company. After two weeks of communication with recruiters in Ukraine and Lithuania, I was told that despite my experience, the training period would be a maximum of two weeks, paid at €25 and then €55. I proceeded to apply for a visa and buy a ticket. A week before my departure, I inquired about the necessary paperwork, and was told that I would be required to spend at least two weeks at the base taking tests, unpaid. I was shocked. They stated that they would be 'training' me."
"The company has its issues, but the reviewer emphasizes their 12 years of experience and loyalty. They criticize drivers who complain without understanding the job or taking responsibility for their mistakes. While there are challenges with new drivers and occasional issues with equipment or conditions, the company provides training and strives to maintain a good standard. Pay was reduced due to economic factors but is expected to return to previous levels. Overall, the reviewer believes the company is decent and many former employees return."
"Found this company through an agency that didn't want to disclose the name. "
"I've been with the company for over two years. For the past year, they've only had Euro 6 trucks, Mercedes and DAF models. Euro 5 trucks are used for routes to Russia and Kazakhstan, but that doesn't affect Ukrainian drivers. The base in Kedainiai is entirely concrete and kept meticulously clean with a special tractor constantly sweeping. The information some people share should be verified before being published."
"Working my second stint and so far it's going well. Of course, there are some minor issues, as there always are."
"The company is generally good to work for, with some minor issues, but that's to be expected. Dispatchers seem reasonable and understanding."
"I've been working here for almost a year and am satisfied. If you work diligently and do your job properly, not just what you feel like doing, you'll consistently receive your pay."
"The living quarters are like a pigsty and the base is dirty. There are excessive fines for fuel, Euro protocols, even if you're wrongfully penalized, scratches, and more. The company is similar to others like Girteka and Valtana. Earning 1200 EUR a month would be acceptable, but anything more is unlikely due to numerous deductions. Currently, the first contract phase has a 50 EUR deduction for altitude, and previous earnings were around 650 EUR."
"I recommend this company even for drivers with no experience in Europe. The training is excellent, and they cover accommodation and food costs. You'll need to work it initially for the money, as you do everywhere."
"The company doesn't promise unrealistic rewards; quality work is compensated accordingly, and pay increases with experience. There can be occasional issues with managers, but they're minor considering the company's size and 27 years in business. The initial period was challenging due to missing family, but the salary significantly improved my financial situation compared to my previous job in Ukraine. My previous experience with Girteka was vastly different. While pay differences may not be substantial, I believe the company's approach to employees is reasonable."
"I've been with this company for three years and even miss it when I'm on vacation. The electronic logging device (ELD) system means I always get paid upon arrival at the office. Management is reasonable, and the managers speak Russian, which eliminates half the problems compared to other companies. After working for over a year, the pay is better, and there are pleasant bonuses like paid parking with showers and regular bonuses."
"I worked for this company, they deduct mileage fraudulently, fuel is measured precisely, truck maintenance is only once a month, and upon arrival, they try to add extra miles to reduce payment. The treatment is appalling. The only decent person to talk to is Irenaeus."
"Drivers are leaving the company due to extremely poor treatment. There were also reports of the owner being arrested by Interpol (as seen in Lithuanian news)!"
"My father works for TVG and is happy with his experience, including the attitude of the staff. It likely depends on the individual."
"A driver was recently picked up from this company. He reported that eight new drivers arrived in the morning, and nine drivers left that evening, including him. Promises made initially were not fulfilled upon arrival. The truck yard has Euro 5 vehicles, but the parking area is unpaved and trucks are parked in dusty, muddy conditions. Draw your own conclusions."
