"I've been working as a CE driver at TRANSTERRA POLSKA and wanted to share my experience. The pay is a daily rate of 60 euros, plus a minimum wage in Polish zloty ranging from 2800 to 3500, including all bonuses. Even when at home, the minimum wage is guaranteed. I work on a 6/2 schedule and consistently earn the minimum of 89 euros."
"Since the old reviews, nothing has changed. Runs to Holland with a fictitious base in BLAISWICK, parking outside the fence. Showers and toilets are accessible at any time. Vehicle acceptance is problematic, trucks are old, damaged, from 2017 with over 500,000 km and in poor condition. Drivers are rushed and allegedly pressured to violate regulations. Salary is minimal plus per diem paid on the 10th of each month. Hotels were provided once, then only formally, otherwise sleeping in the cab. Service is available after insistent requests, but drivers don't care about the trucks, just completing their routes. No time for cleaning or proper inspections after a run. Schedules are tight, and loads are crammed in, resulting in frequent trailer swaps and paperwork."
"Worked for this company. They hire drivers without experience. Training lasts 2 weeks or less, paid at €30 per day. The treatment of drivers is like slaves; if you're quiet and drive at night almost every day, you're a good worker. If you say you're tired from driving all week nights with a 15/9 schedule, they tell you to 'go home.' If you refuse to take a trainee, they say, 'Then we'll give you the worst truck available.' The trucks are all beat-up, even the newer ones with 100,000-150,000 km, all with mechanical problems. When you report problems, they say 'no possibility for maintenance' or simply ignore you. They invent new fines every week. The work involves up to 4 loads/unloads per day, so you're often more of a loader than a driver. They promised €45 hotel allowances, but in reality, only one night is paid from the total allowance (Sunday to Monday, check-in on Sunday at 3:00 PM, check-out at 2:00-3:00 AM)."
