"Translog Company operates primarily from Wroclaw, with no vehicle base. Drivers start trips from Prague, often sharing vans with multiple drivers to swap vehicles at parking areas across Germany. Unpaid days are common. The accommodation in Prague resembles a hostel with kitchen and laundry facilities, but suffers from bed bug infestations that spread to vehicles and back. Management directly involved with vehicles and drivers are Ukrainian, and drivers are pressured to violate regulations while also handling payroll and fines. Upper management is inaccessible. The company prioritizes keeping vehicles moving, taking any available orders, and vehicles are leased. Positives include minimal pallet exchanges, Russian-speaking staff and dispatchers, a work phone with internet access, and flexible scheduling for work periods and rest."
"I've worked at this company for almost a year and I have nothing but positive things to say. Pay is always on time, the trucks are new, the dispatchers are competent and helpful with paperwork. Weekly breaks are usually 45 hours, and it's rare to work a full day on Saturday. I highly recommend this company."
"This is a decent company; while some might call it a 'collective farm,' I'd describe it as a 'farm.' There's no focus on eco-driving or efficiency. The managers are loyal and reasonable, always willing to discuss and negotiate. A major plus is that the salary is paid twice a month, without any delays in the two years I've worked here. A drawback is a €300 deposit is held when leaving, to ensure return to work within a year, but it's promptly returned to your card upon re-engagement. No pallet exchanges, reefer work, or nighttime driving, which is a positive compared to other experiences."
"The company's treatment of employees is terrible. I was naive to think it wouldn't affect me, but unfortunately, I was wrong. I strongly advise against considering this company. People work for months without the necessary documents. Be prepared for them to find ways to deduct money from your pay, even if there are no errors. It's a gamble, but think carefully before engaging with this firm. I wish you all luck, colleagues. I strongly advise against working with this company."
"I was recommended this company, and read positive information, but a friend assured me everything would be fine and paid on time. The reality was waiting almost two months for paperwork, a lack of clarity, and constant delays. The truck wasn't available for nearly a month. The contract initially promised one salary, but they later reduced it. The relationship with the company was nonexistent, filled with empty promises and no established base of operations. Trucks and trailers are never washed, and you have to buy your own cleaning supplies. Vehicle service issues take a long time to resolve. Truck replacements occur in Europe."
"After working here for almost two months, I've seen both the pros and cons. The trucks aren't regularly washed, which impacts the company's image, and they lack supplies like brooms, gloves, and work clothes. While there are drawbacks, it's not the worst company. The trucks and trailers are relatively new, and pay is delivered on time. They provide navigation (though not the best) and mobile phones (though slow). There's a designated contact person who offers assistance, and I encountered a problem with a very dirty truck during acceptance, but the issue wasn't directly the company's fault."
"This company has serious issues. The contract is signed when the company deems you worthy, and the workload is excessive, often extending beyond the scheduled 10-hour shifts with frequent overtime. Expect constant pressure, manual data recovery, and harsh penalties for minor infractions. High turnover is a major red flag, with multiple employees being fired or quitting shortly after joining. Drivers are unfairly penalized for vehicle damage and face constant pressure to meet unrealistic deadlines, leading to conflicts and parking difficulties. The final dismissal was due to a parking choice necessary for security, and the promised salary payment turned into a debt. Consider carefully before joining."
"I've worked at Translog for over a year and it's one of the most reasonable companies I've worked for. They handle paperwork correctly, pay arrives reliably on schedule, and they assist with documentation and residency permits. I completed ADR training and my salary increased, which is great. Overall, it's a normal company."
"I've been working at Translog for two years, and I can say it's a good company. The conditions are reasonable, and everything went as agreed. There's no overtime, a training period for new drivers, which is a plus. The technical department is always available to help. They helped me get started with minimal paperwork, assisting with everything from the card to the code. I have no complaints and have recommended the company to many colleagues."
"I've been working here for 2 years and I like it."
"I've been with this company for two years and have nothing but positive things to say. The team is great, pay is reliable, and there are no unexpected deductions. Management is understanding and supportive of employees. There are no violations of working hours and rest periods. Logistics don't hinder work, and weekly rest is preferably 45 hours. If you make a mistake, you must take responsibility."
"This company was a nightmare. After two months, I was left with $300 for potential fines, which wasn't returned. A promised pay raise didn't happen. I was in an accident and forced to pay franchise fees despite insurance coverage. They withheld my pay, pressured drivers to operate illegally, constantly called, directed us to inconvenient gas stations, and penalized drivers for minor damage. One charge was €300 for a small scuff mark. They exploit drivers, forcing them to work excessive hours for little pay. The owner is beautiful but defers to a problematic manager. The company is Polish, based in the Czech Republic, and operates with Hegelmann (pallet/trailer exchange). Be wary!"
"The company defends itself against false accusations, stating that no employees have been unfairly penalized. They highlight low turnover (less than 5%) compared to industry averages. The company emphasizes rigorous driver selection, legal documentation, and expanding operations, including a new office in Poland. They acknowledge occasional hiring mistakes but quickly address them. A few former employees initiated audits which found no violations."
"I do not recommend. This is a disorganized company with high turnover of staff (dispatchers, drivers)!!!"
