"We worked as a team for almost three years and it was great. Of course, there were problems and disagreements, but everything was resolved amicably. There were trailer damages that were handled fairly, and once our truck was damaged – we appreciated that it wasn’t charged. We had no major issues and everything was excellent. There are occasional quirks, but overall this company is excellent for team drivers and I recommend it. I plan to return when possible due to health reasons."
"I worked as a driver for Taj for almost a year, and things were generally fine. However, in July 2023, all drivers were shorted 1000 Polish Zloty without explanation! I've never seen such cunning management. The leadership wants to get rich at the expense of the drivers and build a new base. Drivers are treated as disposable. Future applicants, think carefully before joining Taj."
"Those considering joining Taj now, I advise against it. Previously, it was a great company with earnings of 87 euros. Since July, it's been 71 euros, and drivers are leaving en masse. There are no plans to increase salaries, at least not currently. It's better to work on a construction site for that kind of money."
"After 1.5 years, I left the company due to issues with my final pay. They initially stated a one-month notice period, which was then changed. My last month's pay included a low settlement and a diet allowance. There's high turnover and hidden problems. I would have left quietly if I had been paid correctly. I had no accidents during my employment."
"They've stopped paying salaries, and when they do, it's with significant delays. Their system exploits drivers, and the company has become a complete mess."
"This company is a disaster. They seize original documents upon hiring and refuse to return them upon termination. Drivers are constantly pushed to maximum hours, dispatchers ignore driver needs, and pay is arbitrary. There's a history of withholding vacation pay and deceptive paperwork. Management is unreasonable and some employees are confrontational. The company has declined significantly."
"Drivers report frequent pay delays, difficulty changing routes, consistent overtime, disrupted rest breaks, maximized driving hours, unauthorized rerouting, and violations of driving regulations. Bed bugs have recently become an issue."
"I do not recommend working for this company. It's a terrible place! They confiscate original documents upon hiring and don't return them upon termination. Office staff treat drivers like slaves. I believe companies like Girteka, Hegilman, and Charter would be better options than TAJ."
"The company used to be decent, but after acquiring 200 trucks starting this year, it has become a terrible company."
"This company is awful and I don't recommend it. They don't compensate for hours of service, constantly violate hours of service regulations, operate in an 'out' mode, and reassign loads during rest breaks. Rest is not allowed; after completing a 9-hour shift, they immediately send you on your way. Weekly rest periods are strictly 24 or 45 hours, no more. Pay is 220 for per diem, 2140 for daily work, plus vacation pay for each week, equivalent to 2 days of paid vacation. After working six weeks, I received a deceptive amount. The total monthly earnings are approximately 9300, which is about 2100 euros with the current exchange rate, considering vacation pay. Solo drivers can earn more while working half as much."
"Avoid this company. They called us in for work, and after a day of travel, they gave us a vehicle and told us to drive to Germany, skipping hostel accommodations to save money. We started driving at night, changing drivers every hour, which resulted in falling asleep at the wheel and crashing into a ditch. We were required to work off the debt to the company."
"Worked at Tayu for 2 years, then a coworker left and I decided to try solo runs. The pay was low, there were fines, and payments were significantly delayed, so I'm returning to Tayu. Listening to dispatchers prevents problems. There are issues, but not as bad as some write. Pay and diet times are on schedule. Good treatment of drivers. If you get sick in Germany, you see a doctor without extra costs. I recommend the company; everything is very legal, and you don't worry about missing documents during inspections."
"This company has some quirks with rest hour calculations, which can reset compensation after a long break. Night work is expected but manageable. Reimbursements for expenses are delayed beyond the legal timeframe. Fuel norms are lacking, but equipment changes are generally smooth. The driver accommodations are clean and comfortable, with easy vehicle check-in. Overall, the company is decent with transparent contracts and a willingness to improve. The work is structured and predictable."
"Working here felt like a brutal labor camp! The experience was extremely difficult and unpleasant."
"Aleks, I appreciate that despite a demanding and busy work schedule, you take the time to monitor our comments and provide detailed responses to them."
"What does 'remaining time' mean? Are loading and unloading not considered work? The 'remaining time' is essentially 9 hours of breaks, rarely more. This is interspersed with 21 hours of work."
"I wouldn't recommend this company. When they had fewer trucks, the treatment of drivers was decent. However, when assigned to a 45-hour route, drivers were told that one month might have one 45-hour period, with the rest being 24-hour periods. There were constant violations of work and rest schedules."
