"Those seeking carpets and free work on old, red MAN trucks, forget about getting paid. This company is not recommended."
"The company has significantly declined in the last year. Management changes led to deductions in pay, mandated eco-driving, and an unreasonable idle time limit. Drivers struggle to rest adequately, and the company is known for not settling final pay promptly with departing employees. The driver was terminated after refusing a month's notice, citing a fabricated violation. The company is failing and drivers are leaving."
"This company, SASTRANS, deducts monthly fees for residency, provides accommodation for only two days, and then requires drivers to pay themselves. Replacement work primarily occurs in Europe. The company disregards driver inconvenience during replacements, focusing solely on completing the task. Management by David's son and Shammon's son-in-law has led to the company's decline, with deductions for fuel and route deviations. A two-month notice period for termination has been introduced, with drivers reporting issues receiving final paychecks, often with fabricated reasons for withholding funds. It's recommended to leave without notice to secure outstanding payments. Other companies don't require such documentation. Avoid this company to prevent unnecessary stress and mistreatment."
"This company has significantly declined. The owner is erratic and creates a stressful work environment. Payment, once reliable, is now inconsistent. Dispatchers are often related to management and include unqualified individuals. The company has lost lucrative contracts due to corruption. The fleet consists of MAN trucks, some with infestations, and maintenance is neglected. Driver turnover is high, with frequent equipment shortages. Drivers are constantly being penalized for minor infractions, leading many to leave for better opportunities."
"Since summer 2023, this company has become a relentless race. Dispatchers have changed, and the pressure is intense: drivers are expected to drive eight hours while working 14.30 hours. Constant searches for parking near Hamburg and Hanover at 8-9 PM are routine. Dispatchers pressure drivers to submit lists of those not meeting the eight-hour requirement to deduct pay. Management dismisses concerns about parking in Germany, suggesting drivers who can't find parking 40 minutes before the end of their shift are poor performers. The workforce is primarily Georgian and Tajik. After deductions, pay is €72 without ADR certification, €67 with. Night shifts and pallet exchanges are common. Other companies pay €2500 for similar work; I switched to a company with no night shifts and a salary of €95."
"This company is terrible. Working there would explain why. The situation has worsened since the owner distanced themselves from the company; drivers reported good times previously, but now things are bad."
"The company is currently hiring drivers, even those without experience, offering a training program and assistance with obtaining a CDL. They are expanding their fleet and provide support for obtaining a CDL, including training and exam preparation. The pay is 2700 Polish Zloty."
"I've been working with this company for a year now, and the pay is excellent. The salary is transparent, with no unjustified deductions. Logistics are good, and the bosses are great people. I recommend this company."
"Overall, this seems like a decent company. There aren't any negative reviews that I've seen. I frequently encounter many of their trucks on the road."
