"I've worked at this company for over 5 years, and it's getting worse each year. They deduct money from your pay after your first trip, hold you back with reports, and constantly delay payments. The truck maintenance is terrible; repairs only happen if you threaten to refuse work. Parking is expensive, and there's no compensation for trips to the base or work locations. Logistics managers leave frequently, and there's a lot of overtime that isn't paid. I don't recommend it; there are better options. There are many non-Russian speakers and high driver turnover."
"Don't listen to anyone! All the positive reviews are written by sycophants or office workers. Nobody wants to work there anymore, neither from Ukraine nor Belarus. The company has transferred its operations to Polish registrations and is hiring Filipinos."
"I lasted 1.5 years at this company. I was on rotating routes. The managers are mostly awful, though some are decent. Thomas, who handles rotating routes, is particularly problematic, constantly finding excuses to delay changes and making it difficult to resolve issues. After submitting reports, there's pressure to pay bribes, especially in accounting; they tried to scam me for 950 euros, but only got away with 200. I left and went to another company in Vilnius instead of going to Siauliai to formally resign. I advise other drivers to search for a different company; there's no benefit to be found here. It's a stressful job, and the experience depends heavily on the manager."
"Don't expect a perfect company; they don't exist. This is a job where you're given tasks to complete. If you owned a business and had employees, you'd be the one telling them what to do."
"Be cautious when reading reviews. This company posts positive reviews about itself."
"If you do the job well, don't cheat, don't steal fuel, and treat the vehicle with care, everything will be fine, as in any other company. In this company, everything is monitored, which is correct because there are drivers who don't appreciate anything and just want to lie down and earn money."
"The company handles visa processing for England, covering the costs and completing it within 5 days. Routes include Europe and England, with hourly pay deposited directly to a card. Rest periods are 3-4 weeks after each 2-month work cycle."
"The pay is the highest in Poland and Lithuania, with bonuses for experience and training colleagues. There's also a bonus of β¬200 for returning for a second consecutive period, and they assist with paperwork, deducting the cost from your salary β very convenient. Paid training makes it a decent place to work."
"This company is great! I've worked here for 1.5 years and they always pay on time and provide discounts. Newer Volvo trucks are common, and the company is working to improve conditions for drivers, including opening a base in Poland. While there was one incident where a driver damaged a truck, the company generally supports its employees. Mechanics are reliable and address issues promptly. Experienced drivers are happy with their work and pay. If you approach the job with a good attitude, the company will reciprocate. It's important to be prepared for the demands of trucking before blaming the company."
"Worked at Nostradus for six months, with routes to Sweden and Norway. There was a two-week training period, and an advance of β¬300 was given in the first week. After training, monthly earnings can reach up to β¬1500. The daily rate is β¬80 since October. Routes are self-selected, with no deductions for excess mileage. There's no fuel card, and no penalties for environmental violations. Ferry replacements occur in Klaipeda; payments are processed quickly (report submitted on Monday, confirmation on Tuesday morning, funds received in the evening). All payments were accurate. Two of my brothers also work there on English routes and are satisfied. It's a workable company; people will always have complaints. It's a large firm with many employees, so situations and people vary. I am leaving because I don't want to work in Norway during winter, and I don't want to switch to a different route involving bus replacements in Europe."
"This company is simply terrible. The treatment is appalling, and nobody wants to communicate. Valeriya in Poland is particularly problematic; she's rude and clearly not suited for her role. We've been stuck here for almost a month with no paperwork. The hostel is overcrowded, with eight people per room, one stove with only three burners, making cooking impossible, and a long queue for the toilet starting from nighttime."
"The work was generally fine, but there were deductions of β¬15 for mileage and β¬30-42 for insurance during the first two 3-month contracts. Payments were sometimes delayed. Overtime can be an issue due to ferry queues when driving to England. Pay is β¬79 for England and β¬69 for Europe, with additional pay for experience. The experience heavily depends on the manager you're assigned to, as there are some incompetent people on both sides. There are frequent border changes, but this is less common on routes to England."
"I left a year ago. I was hired through an agency, and they promised a route to England and β¬72 per day from the start. However, I was told I needed to spend two weeks in training. The training lasted five weeks. My mentor had only two months of experience driving a truck, knew nothing, drank alcohol, and sometimes I had to work overtime and find my own parking. The person was not fit to drive. I received an advance of β¬825, and then β¬53 per day, but I waited ten days to receive the money at home. It's a terrible company with a horrible base (in Ε iauliai)."
"The paperwork was worse than what I've seen from Polish companies. It turned out I wasn't allowed into Poland because the previous company hadn't paid a fine. The authorities arranged documents for Lithuania, and now I'm driving. So far, it's going well."
"The recruiter kept me waiting a long time regarding overseas work. She found the job on Nostradamus because they are the only ones who offer internships. The first little while was confusing. It wasn't always comfortable working in pairs, which was an awkward situation, but that's ended now. I'm driving solo with trips to England. My contract is nearing completion. I took two contracts consecutively and received an extra 100 euros on top of my salary. Money is deposited directly into my card as per the contract. So far, no problems have arisen."
"I had all my documents ready for Poland. Without a prepared visa, I would have been sitting at home for three months. I went to the Polish branch of the company, and the conditions were the same, which was convenient. I've heard stories from others who didn't wait but went to Lithuania."
"I was placed through an international staffing service, and they provided excellent assistance. The pay is quite good, almost 2000 euros, and the routes to the west were convenient. Overall, it's good."
"From my experience, there are some minor issues, but overall I'm quite satisfied. Payment is reliable, and the trucks are brand new. I drove a Mercedes with a tarp, and a friend drives a new Volvo with a reefer."
"The van replacement program has issues like mileage manipulation and odometer tampering. Payments are delayed until reports are submitted, and there's constant pressure to withhold funds. It's similar to large, bureaucratic companies, but work is possible."
"They deduct for everything, treat drivers like dogs. There are issues receiving earned wages, and they find reasons to pay less. Drivers in Kalvarija sleep on pallets, even for 45-hour rests, because another driver left in their truck. You might spend a month in a hotel and a month as a trainee earning 0.03 euros. Basically, if you're bored at home, you can go and make Mr. Valenchius earn euros."
"This company is terrible, the worst in Ε iauliai. It takes a week to submit reports, they didn't pay for New Year's, and driving in cramped conditions with five people in a small cab and trailer across Europe is very uncomfortable. Drivers are frequently sent on assignments all over Europe, once 3000 km from Ε iauliai. Parking for personal vehicles costs money, there's a wall of β¬1000. A franchise fee of β¬500 exists. There's excessive paperwork when submitting reports. Staff are rude. Fuel overages of up to 700 liters per term are possible. Avoid working here."
