"Working for the Polish subsidiary of MENTON GARGO was a frustrating experience. While I initially tolerated issues like overcrowding, payment delays, older vehicles (2012-2014 models), and disregarding restrictions, the dispatcher's attitude and the company's overall policies were the final straw. The rudeness of the dispatchers and driving with worn brake pads were particularly concerning. However, some long-term employees seem content."
"The company is good, the work schedule is acceptable and they are understanding, which is very nice. There were no issues with the managers. I was particularly impressed by the care from the main manager and the company director, which shows that drivers are valued here. Trucking for shifts is excellent; shifts are mostly at one or two parking areas, which is a huge plus compared to driving across Europe. Although colleagues have mentioned sometimes it's three or six drivers, the pay is reliable, and there are no deductions or delays."
"This company is a chaotic mess. They lure drivers with false promises, starting with misleading job postings. Transportation to the trucks is in an old van, crammed with people. Drivers are rotated frequently across multiple countries, with constant stops for paperwork and parts. Expect long hours and tired trucks, mostly Euro 5 models. Trailer conditions are terrible. Bonuses are unlikely, and even the base salary of €83 is questionable. Routes are strictly national, avoiding toll roads, and drivers often sleep along the roadside. The Switzerland route is particularly disastrous."
"This company is a scam. During the hiring process, Elon promised one thing, but then there was no salary, and Elon wouldn't answer calls. The trucks are old, drivers are treated poorly, and 2000 euros were not returned."
"There are unjustified deductions, pay delays, the trucks are old, and you have to do your own repairs in the parking lot. Two managers are decent, but the rest are unprofessional. Overall, I don't recommend it; there are many other issues..."
"Having worked with various companies, I've experienced both good and bad situations. However, in my three years here, I haven't noticed anything negative; the conditions are satisfactory, and most people stay for a long time."
"I've been with the company for two years and am generally satisfied. I have experience to compare it to, having worked in Lithuania since 2009. I recommend Mitradu."
"This company is unreliable. They find excuses not to pay wages, don't maintain the trucks properly, and transport drivers to the trucks in a crowded van. The attitude towards drivers changes after they're hired, and drivers effectively pay for most of the fuel. I had 1260 euros withheld and had to fight to get them back, after which I was asked to leave. Consider carefully before joining."
"Pay is around $58 per day, but can vary. The company has approximately 50 trucks, mostly Euro 5 and 6 models with high mileage (often over a million kilometers). Fuel standards are lacking, and there are overage charges. Drivers operate independently across Europe, primarily between France and Germany, with occasional pallet exchanges. Payment is slow, with only 40 days paid after 6 weeks of work, and bus expenses are not covered. Trucks often carry 4-9 people and trailers, and drivers are frequently asked to assist with tasks like changing tires or batteries. Parking is restricted, even in locations like Vipiteno, Italy."
"Thank you for the feedback! I'm considering this company and wondering if there are any other details to know. The woman I spoke with seemed pleasant, but the salary offered was a bit lower than initially promised."
