"Driving frequently at night can be relentless, sometimes for two months straight without proper rest. Daily routes are often 600-740 km at night. There are hidden fees for trips, and payment issues are common – money may be 'forgotten' and delayed indefinitely. Drivers experience inconsistent pay, sometimes with deductions. Living quarters are often shared with diverse individuals, and cleanliness is a concern. Bedbugs are a problem in the trucks, and drivers are expected to drive after fumigation, impacting their health. Extended driving hours (over 9 hours) are frequent."
"I shared my experience with Kim-Johansen. I traveled to Zelena Gura for employment shortly after receiving my code 95. I passed the truck test and was told I was a good fit. They processed a work visa and requested I come to sign a contract and undergo a medical exam. I traveled from Russia at my own expense. I signed all documents and passed the medical exam on October 2-3. The recruitment manager, Yana, stated that they would prepare the necessary paperwork within three weeks and contact me to start work. It has now been over a month and a half. Yana has stopped responding to emails and calls. I struggled to find the phone number of other employees. When I reached someone, they advised me to look for another employer, as they had stopped hiring drivers. When I requested to speak with Yana, I was told she was very busy and would not speak with me. I lost 500 Euros on travel expenses and two months of my time!"
