"This is a small company with about 20 Volvo and Scania trucks. A significant portion of the drivers are Polish. Drivers are assigned dedicated trucks, with no reassignments. Trucks return to the base, and there are no bus routes in Europe. Even during extended vacations, the driver's truck remains assigned to them. The trucks are fully equipped, including microwaves in the cabs. While some older Volvos are present, their condition is excellent. Drivers receive clean trucks at the base, with the head mechanic providing a walkthrough. Wages are paid via card, and parking fees are reimbursed. Polish drivers travel shorter distances, while Ukrainian drivers receive daily pay that is quite good. Advances are readily available, and assistance is provided with paperwork. The company offers good working conditions; it's not for those looking for an easy job. A diligent driver will succeed."
"I worked for Karo for three weeks in March and quickly realized it was a fraudulent company, leading to my resignation. I signed an employment contract, but no financial details were included in the documents I signed. I was told my pay would arrive by the 10th, but over a month later, I filed a complaint with Pip. An inspection revealed I supposedly received cash payments, which I have no record of signing for. The company is petty, meticulously tracking and recording supplies like rubber bands for plastic bags. They provide a can of AdBlue to save on fuel costs, but without instructions on how to use it. Drivers are charged for route deviations and face frequent, overloaded loads with numerous straps, often at night. They force drivers to work on their days off, threatening termination if they refuse. Constant calls and strict monitoring are the norm. Foreign drivers are paid significantly more than Ukrainian and Belarusian employees. They deceive employees and ultimately fail to pay"
"This company is a complete nightmare! The location is remote, with poor living conditions and constant micromanagement. Drivers are treated poorly, face arbitrary fines, and are forced to work unreasonable hours, often unpaid. There's a lack of communication, broken promises, and a general disregard for driver well-being. The company manipulates pay and appears to have corrupt practices. Overall, a highly negative and exploitative work environment."
"We only lasted two months with this company; it took a significant toll on us both physically and emotionally. Everything others have said about this company is true. I urge my Belarusian and Ukrainian colleagues not to work here, as you will lose both time and money."
