"This Polish company in Turek employs mostly Ukrainian and Belarusian drivers. They hire inexperienced drivers with unpaid internships. Drivers are penalized for minor vehicle damage, lack transparency in freight costs, and receive unpredictable pay based on the boss's mood. Financial documentation is missing. Payments are often small advances given with disdain. Dispatchers are young and sometimes rude. Trucks are often in poor condition. The boss was erratic, frequently unavailable, and threatened legal action after the driver discussed working conditions. The driver was ultimately fired without pay and received only 900 euros for 4 months of work, despite being owed 1350 euros."
